In the spirit of the holiday, registrants will select one of three categories:

  • Co-Dependent (registrant is in a relationship)
  • Stupid Cupid (registrant is single)
  • Love ‘em or Leave ‘em (well . . it’s complicated)

Individuals not stating their status will be assigned to the relationship category.

Stupid Cupid Category

Snub your nose at the holiday and form a two-(wo)men team with your pal, family member, or other singleton. Awards are given to the top three teams (female/male, male/male, and female/female) based on cumulative net time.

Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Category

Not sure the status? Join your other confused friends and form a two-person squad. Awards are given to the top three teams (female/male, male/male, and female/female) based on cumulative net time.

2010 Post Race Party!

The Love the Run You’re With 5K post-party hosted by Champps Restaurant. Belly up to the bar or ask for a romantic table for two to redeem your gift from Champps.

When you finish the race, you will receive a pre-loaded gift card; ranging in value from $3 to $30 to redeem at Champps Pentagon Row (card values are randomly assigned).  For the single guy who nabs a lucky $30 gift card, here’s your chance to buy the hot girl you spied at mile 2 that morning mimosa! Your wingman only has $3 on his card? Well, he’ll still be able to get something to wet his whistle.

Card redemptions are good for food and/or beverages and are one per person.  Must be 21 to consume alcohol; must show ID. Champps will have their brunch menu available and servers to happily bring you something better to eat than, well, the granola bar you’ll get from us.  Don’t miss our post-race Karaoke contest in Champps after the race!

We will also offer complimentary bottled water, PowerAde, and granola bars  in the Pentagon Row courtyard after the run.
